The Power of Karma Yoga: Work as a Spiritual Path

Most people associate yoga with physical poses, but Karma yoga is about action with awareness. Also known as the yoga of selfless service, Karma yoga teaches us to act without attachment to results. Instead of chasing rewards or recognition, Karma yoga emphasizes mindful effort and devotion in daily tasks—turning ordinary work into spiritual practice. By engaging in tasks such as cleaning, cooking, or organizing in community, students develop presence, patience, and humility. Over time, this practice clears mental clutter, reduces ego fixation, and opens space for authentic awakening.
